We read in Hebrews 12:1, “Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us…” Nike came out with the slogan, “Just Do It”, 37 years ago that has inspired athletes, entrepreneurs, artists, and everyday people all around the world.

One of the messages in this slogan is, you don’t have to be great, you don’t have to have it all figured out, you just need to start. You just need to do something. I believe the writer of Hebrews was saying the same thing to the people of his day and to us as well, in regards to our walk of faith, “Just Do It!”
