The Prophecy of Hope

This service starts the Advent of Christmas Series. Advent means “arrival” and signifies the start of an event or the arrival of a person. It is observed during the four weeks that lead up to Christmas. Many churches will light a different candle each week to represent hope, peace, joy and love, as we remember the true meaning of the season. In this service we focus on the hope that we have in Jesus. Hope pulls from the past – to proclaim in the present – the promise for the future.
