The Attitude of Gratitude

Someone has well said, “It is through gratitude for the present moment that the spiritual dimension of life opens up.” Paul and Silas were wrongfully accused, beaten, and thrown into prison when they were ministering in Philippi. In the midst of what could have been their darkest moment, we find them offering prayers and praise to God. We are told that the place was shaken, the doors flew open, the chains fell off and the jailer and his household were brought into a relationship with Jesus. This message looks at some wonderful lessons that we as individuals can learn and apply to our lives from this amazing event in history.
